Supplementary dataset — 3-amino-1,2,4-triazole at the chitosan–collagen interface: literature dataset, evidence classification and figures

Literature dataset, evidence classification and figures supporting the review "3-Amino-1,2,4-triazole at the chitosan–collagen interface: a mechanistic framework for bridging, capping and lattice inclusion". Literature searches were run between 16 and 18 August 2026 in Crossref, PubMed, Europe PMC and PubChem. No date restriction was applied; the dataset spans 1958–2026. Duplicates were removed by DOI. Records were retained if the title or abstract addressed (i) the chitosan–collagen interface, (ii) an azole incorporated in or grafted onto a biopolymer, or (iii) a component-level property of chitosan, collagen or 3-amino-1,2,4-triazole relevant to the mechanistic analysis. Screening retained 177 records. Of the 177 records, 174 carry a DOI resolved against the Crossref REST API; the remaining three are a print-only 1965 journal article, a PubChem compound record and an open-access article predating DOI assignment, each checked against the primary source. Records are classified by search category (A1–E5), evidence tier (component-direct 63, semi-direct 70, supporting 44) and screening decision (Included 23, Relevant background 91, Supporting evidence 63). Search category A1, ternary chitosan + collagen + azole, contains no records: no eligible study combining all three components was identified within the defined search strategy.
