In the United States, Gen Z consumers of apparel gave insights on the leading reasons why they return online purchases in 2023. The majority of respondents, more than 35 percent, return clothes from online orders due to not liking the sizing. A little less than 30 percent returned online purchases due to the items not looking as consumers thought they would, while only 13 percent buy the same item in different sizes and return the ones that do not fit well.
