Rockfill Test Database

A database of 934 large-scale triaxial tests conducted on rockfill under consolidated drained (CD) conditions, in addition to four direct shear tests. The dataset builds on the compilation by Douglas (2002). All data were sourced from published research, encompassing 41 publications and 32 distinct rock types. Notable large-scale triaxial devices in the database include a 1130 mm diameter triaxial cell by Marsal et al. (1965), a 1000 mm diameter cell by Hu et al. (2011), and a 914 mm cell by Marachi et al. (1972). All included tests report rock type and initial void ratio.
