Test-Particle Simulation Results for "Observations of Wisp Events by CIRBE and Arase: Loss Cone Overfilling by Intense VLF Transmitter Waves"

This dataset contains the results of two test-particle simulations performed for different wave amplitudes (Ew0) and propagation angles (theta): (1) results_1bnc_6mVm_theta_G.txt with Ew0 = 6 mV/m and theta = theta_G, where theta_G is the Gendrin angle. (2) results_1bnc_10mVm_09theta_r.txt with Ew0 = 10 mV/m and theta = 0.9 theta_r, where theta_r is the resonant angle. All other wave parameters are identical in both simulations and are specified in the manuscript. Each file contains individual particle trajectories in a single .txt file, with each trajectory separated by NaNs, in the following format: time, gamma, z, pa, mu, lambda time - time in Re/c gamma - gamma factor z - coordiante along the field line in Re pa - pitch angle mu - magnetic moment in mc^2/(Beq) lambda - magnetic colatitude The dump rate is set by a particle energy change of ~100 eV or a pitch-angle change of 1 degree.
