CSIRO CCAM (nested in ERA40 GCM) Regional Climate Model dataset for Australia 1971-2000

Regional Climate Model simulation dataset for the Australasian region for the years 1971-2000. Created with the CSIRO CCAM (Cubic Conformal Amostpheric Model 805) RCM (Regional Climate Model) by dynamically downscaling the ERA40 reanalysis Climate Model output to 60 km resolution over a target area centered over Australia. 30 years of ERA40 output was used as the host model (nested in ERA40), with greenhouse emissions corresponding to 1971-2000. Daily and Monthly Atmospheric variables are available between Lat:-60N 0N(.5 deg res) & Lon:105E 165E(.5 deg res), at 5 levels (1000, 850, 700, 500, 300 hPa), 60Km resolution(C48 grid) & 18 vertical levels. There are 360 Daily files totalling 173.0 GB, 361 Monthly_mean files totalling 3.79 GB and 360 Raw cubic conformal model output files totaling 128.0 GB with all being in netcdf format. This dataset has been created as part of a model evaluation experiment involving CCAM to examine the dynamic downscaling performance when nested in different Global climate models. Available for internal use and analysis by CSIRO staff on the HPSC cherax.

数据集提供日尺度和月尺度的大气变量，覆盖纬度范围为-60°N至0°N（即南纬60度至赤道，分辨率0.5度），经度范围为东经105度至东经165度（分辨率0.5度）；包含5个气压层（1000、850、700、500、300百帕）、60公里分辨率（C48网格）及18个垂直层次。
数据集包含360个日尺度文件（总计173.0 GB）、361个月均值文件（总计3.79 GB）及360个立方 conformal 模型原始输出文件（总计128.0 GB），所有文件均采用NetCDF格式。
该数据集是CCAM模型评估实验的一部分，旨在检验CCAM嵌套于不同全球气候模型时的动态降尺度性能。目前仅供CSIRO员工在高性能计算系统（High Performance Computing System，HPSC）Cherax平台上内部使用和分析。
