Faroe Islands Rephotography Image Registration Dataset

The dataset contains over 200 georeferenced registered rephotographic compilations of the Faroe Islands. The position of each compilation is locatable on a map. Each compilation consists of a historic and a corresponding contemporary image showing the same scene. The two images of a compilation are aligned, such that the same objects are positioned at the same pixel coordinate in both images. Contemporary images were photographed in Summer 2022 by the author while historic images were retrieved from the collections of the National Museum of Denmark.
