Actors and Power in the Buenos Aires Cabildo, 1776-1810: A Contribution from the Social Network Analysis

ABSTRACT This contribution analyzes the relationship between the nominations made at the beginning of each year for seats in the cabildo of Buenos Aires between 1776 and 1810, and the relative position of political individuals from capitular families in their social network. We found statistical evidence that corroborates this relationship between political power and capitular individuals using social network analysis.

摘要 本研究分析了1776年至1810年间，布宜诺斯艾利斯市政参议会（cabildo）每年年初的席位提名，与参议会家族政治人物在其社交网络中的相对地位之间的关联。我们通过社交网络分析方法，获取了可证实政治权力与参议会议员之间存在此种关联的统计学证据。
