The Colorado potato beetle is an important pest of potatoes, and well known for its rapid rate of insecticide resistance evolution. In an effort to understand the genomic changes that underlie pesticide adaptation and improve the genomic resources for studying this pest, we assembled several haploid genomes using a trio-binning (parent-offspring) sequencing approach.
科罗拉多马铃薯甲虫(Colorado potato beetle)是马铃薯的重要农业害虫,因其快速演化的杀虫剂抗药性而广为人知。为解析支撑其杀虫剂适应性的基因组改变,并优化用于该害虫研究的基因组学资源,我们采用trio分箱法(trio-binning,即亲子代)测序策略,组装了多套单倍体基因组。
