Execution of Local Budgets in Ukraine (2018-2025): Comprehensive Dataset

This dataset provides comprehensive data on the execution of all local budgets in Ukraine (regional, district, and territorial community budgets) for the period from 2018 to 2025. The data was collected via the public API of the State Web Portal of the Budget for Citizens (Open Budget). To optimize storage and analytical processing speed, the raw CSV files (originally ~20 GB) were converted into the .parquet format using Snappy compression. The archive also includes the Python scripts used for downloading (download_data.py) and converting (convert_to_parquet.py) the data. Data Structure The data is grouped by types of budget indicators and classifications: INCOMES: Revenues of local budgets. EXPENSES: Expenditures (by program, functional, and economic classifications). CREDITS: Crediting. FINANCING_DEBTS: Financing by type of debt obligation. FINANCING_CREDITOR: Financing by creditor type. Main Variables (Columns): REP_PERIOD: Month and year. FUND_TYP: Fund type (C - general, S - special, T - total). COD_BUDGET: Budget code. ZAT_AMT: Annual budget allocation including changes. PLANS_AMT: Estimated annual allocations including changes. FAKT_AMT: Executed for the period. DONE_CORR_YEAR_PCT: Execution against the updated annual allocation, %.
