Salinity and waterlogging are two major abiotic stresses in the world. The restoration of waterlogged and salty soils may be accomplished by utilizing eucalyptus plants. There are several eucalyptus clones that are commercially available and have varying salt and waterlogging tolerance. The molecular mechanism underlying tolerance and susceptibility to salt and waterlogging was examined using the transcriptomic approach.
盐胁迫(Salinity)与渍涝胁迫(Waterlogging)是全球范围内的两大主要非生物胁迫(abiotic stresses)。利用桉树属植物(eucalyptus plants)可实现渍涝与盐渍土壤的修复。当前已有数种商业化可用的桉树无性系(eucalyptus clones),其对盐胁迫与渍涝胁迫的耐受能力各不相同。本研究通过转录组学方法(transcriptomic approach),解析了介导桉树对盐胁迫与渍涝胁迫产生耐受与易感的分子机制。
