Description: Bacterial samples were collected from Loripes orbiculatus and seagrass environment (sediment, overlying seawater, seagrass blades and seagrass roots) to examine diversity of Ca. Thiodiazotropha symbionts in the bivalve hosts and seagrass environment. Both 16S rRNA amplicon and metagenome sequencing were used to examine diversity within the bivalve host and 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing was used to examine diversity within the compartments of the seagrass habitat. Sequencing was performed at the Joint Microbiome Facility of the Medical University of Vienna and the University of Vienna under the project IDs JMF-2203-01, JMF-2203-02, and JMF-2201-06.
数据集描述:本研究从圆球铃蛤(Loripes orbiculatus)及海草生境(沉积物、上覆海水、海草叶片与海草根系)中采集细菌样本,以探究双壳类宿主与海草生境中候选硫偶氮杆菌属(Ca. Thiodiazotropha)共生菌的多样性。本研究同时采用16S rRNA扩增子测序(16S rRNA amplicon sequencing)与宏基因组测序(metagenome sequencing),解析双壳类宿主内的菌群多样性;针对海草生境各微生境的菌群多样性,则仅通过16S rRNA扩增子测序进行分析。测序工作由维也纳医科大学与维也纳大学联合微生物组设施完成,对应项目编号为JMF-2203-01、JMF-2203-02及JMF-2201-06。
