VATIVE MECHANISMS FOR POVERTY REDUCTION IN UZBEKISTAN BASED ON CHINESE EXPERIENCE: THEORY, ANALYSIS AND PRACTICE

This article provides an in-depth analysis of China's experience of poverty reduction on a historic scale over the past 40 years and examines the possibilities of adapting and applying this experience in the context of Bukhara region in Uzbekistan. The report 'Four Decades of Poverty Reduction in China' (2022), published by the World Bank and the China Development Research Centre, has been used as the main source, providing a detailed description of precise statistical indicators, policy mechanisms and institutional innovations. This article critically assesses China's two-pronged approach – comprehensive economic transformation and targeted anti-poverty policies – from the perspective of its applicability to Uzbekistan. In conclusion, practical recommendations and a new set of mechanisms tailored to the context of Uzbekistan are proposed.
