The relative importance of artificial shelters on vertebrate communities and microclimate in deserts.

We examined microclimate at artificial shelters, natural shrubs, and in the open across four sites in Southwestern California, USA. The study was done in the spring and winter of 2022-2023. We camera trapped at each site during each year to examine local vertebrate communities.

本研究针对美国加利福尼亚州西南部的四个采样点位，分别在人工遮蔽物、天然灌丛及开阔生境中开展微气候（microclimate）监测。本次研究的实施时段为2022至2023年的春季与冬季。此外，本研究于各采样点位的对应年度均布设红外相机诱捕（camera trap）装置，以调查当地脊椎动物群落组成。
