Local Government Organization at Municipal and County Level, County Sample, 2000

This data set is taken from the survey "Local Government Organization at Municipal and County Level, 2000", which was conducted by the Norwegian Institute of Urban and Regional Research (NIBR) on behalf of the Ministry of Local Government and Regional Development (KRD). The purpose of the survey was to collect data for an update of KRD's organizational database. This database provides data on various features of municipal organization in most municipalities and counties in Norway. The purpose of the database is to provide a tool that enables municipalities, counties, state authorities, researchers and others with an interest in municipal organization, to be able to obtain an overview of important organizational features of municipalities and counties, either together or individually. The database is currently based on surveys conducted in 1995, 1996 and 2000. KRD aims to update the database every four years after the municipal council and county council elections. The next update of the database will take place in 2004.

This file contains data for Norwegian counties retrieved in 2000. The data set is divided into three main sections:

1. Political organization
2. Administrative organization
3. Revision, information / communication measures and competitive exposure

本数据集源自2000年开展的‘市县级地方政府组织调查’，该调查由挪威城市与区域研究所（Norwegian Institute of Urban and Regional Research, NIBR）受地方政府与区域发展部（Ministry of Local Government and Regional Development, KRD）委托实施。此项调查旨在为更新KRD的组织数据库收集数据。该数据库涵盖挪威大部分市、郡级行政单位的市政组织各类特征数据。该数据库的宗旨是提供一种工具，让市、郡行政单位、国家机关、研究人员及其他关注市政组织的主体，能够整体或单独了解市、郡行政单位的重要组织特征概况。目前，该数据库基于1995年、1996年及2000年开展的调查数据构建。KRD计划在市议会与郡议会选举后每四年更新一次数据库，下一次更新将于2004年进行。
