Supporting Data for "Cultural Capital and Urban-Rural Educational Inequality in High School Enrollment in China: A Mixed-Methods Study"

The folder contains supporting data for a mixed-methods study on urban-rural educational inequality in high school enrollment in China. The quantitative dataset is from the China Family Panel Studies (CFPS) and contains variables measuring the urban-rural divide, family socioeconomic status, cultural capital, and children's high school enrollment results. The qualitative dataset includes interview transcripts with 16 urban and rural parents of children who enrolled in high schools in 2022. The demographic information sheet and interview protocol are also provided.
