书脊数据集（Book Spine Dataset）共包含1849张由不同移动设备拍摄的高分辨率图像，单张图像分辨率约为3000×4000，每张图像中平均堆叠有超过25本书籍。由于拍摄角度与书籍摆放方式存在差异，图像内的书籍呈现出极为密集且倾斜的堆叠状态。研究人员采用Labelme标注工具，以多边形标注格式对图像中的每一本书籍进行标注，随后将所有标注格式统一转换为与MSCOCO数据集完全一致的格式。该数据集被划分为训练集与测试集，其中训练集包含1387张图像，测试集包含462张图像。
