SimCP: a platform to simulate gait performance after intervention in CP children

The motivations behind this project are (1) the observation that it is very difficult to predictthe functional outcome of a clinical treatment in children with cerebral palsy (CP), whichoften leads to follow-up treatments with an important socio-economic impact; and (2) therecent scientific progress in the domain of subject-specific neuro-musculoskeletal modelingwhich enables the development of computer simulations to predict the functional outcomefor individual patients. Therefore, this project aims to create SimCP, a simulation platformthat will enable the clinicians to compare the effect of different treatments and to determinewhich treatment has the highest potential of improving gait performance before theintervention. <br/><br/>This project includes the following software/data packages: <br/> <ul> <li> <a href="https://simtk.org/frs?group_id=1521#pack_2113">SimCP GUI </a> </li> </ul>
