we performed a de novo transcriptome assembly in the skin of sperm whale, and also conducted a comparative transcriptome analysis to explore and clarify the NLR signaling pathway and the role of the key gene-NOD1 in this innate immune response by using the full-length transcript of sperm whale skin as a reference.

本研究以抹香鲸皮肤组织为材料，开展了从头转录组组装（de novo transcriptome assembly）；同时以抹香鲸皮肤全长转录本作为参考序列，进行比较转录组分析（comparative transcriptome analysis），以探索并阐明NLR信号通路（NLR signaling pathway）以及关键基因NOD1在该固有免疫应答（innate immune response）中的作用。
