Laboratory measurements of physical properties of rocks from the Nevados de Chillán Geothermal System

This dataset contains laboratory measurements of physical and elastic properties of rock samples from the Nevados de Chillán Geothermal System, located in the Southern Volcanic Zone of the Chilean Andes. The data include P-wave (Vp) and S-wave (Vs) velocities, dynamic elastic modulus, Poisson’s ratio, and porosity, measured under both ambient and hydrostatic confining pressure conditions. In addition, the dataset includes results from post–thermal treatment experiments, which evaluate the influence of heating on the physical behavior of the rocks.
