RNA sequencing of 15 strains of Dinophysis, 2021

This dataset corresponds to the mRNA sequencing reads of 15 strains from 6 dinophysis strains cultivated with mesodinium preys. Dinoflagellates of the genus Dinophysis are responsible for harmful algal blooms and produce diarrhetic shellfish toxins (DSTs). Species of the genus are difficult to identify based on classical genetic markers. The goal of the study was to obtain a genus level reference transcriptome and identify SNP markers to differenciate species.
