Extracted data from a comprehensive review of parallel group multi-arm trials published in the NIHR online Journals Library

The United Kingdom’s National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) online Journals Library, was searched from 1 January 1997 to 31 December 2024 for reports of multi-arm RCTs. Extracted information includes: trial characteristics, the sample size estimation and analysis of the primary outcome. Search and selection was conducted by two researchers. Data extraction was conducted independently by two reviewers. Any arising disagreement or uncertainty was resolved by discussion.A total of 2452 reports were screened for eligibility, 97 reports of multi-arm parallel-group trials met the inclusion criteria, of these 90 included the results of a multi-arm efficacy analysis. This dataset includes the extracted data for all 97 multi-arm parallel-group trials.

本研究以英国国家卫生与保健研究学会（National Institute for Health and Care Research, NIHR）在线期刊库为数据源，于1997年1月1日至2024年12月31日期间检索多臂随机对照试验（randomized controlled trial, RCT）的相关研究报告。提取的信息包括试验特征、样本量估算及主要结局指标的分析结果。文献检索与筛选流程由两名研究人员共同执行，数据提取工作由两名审稿人独立开展，若出现分歧或存疑内容，将通过讨论协商解决。本次研究共对2452份报告开展纳入资格筛查，最终有97篇多臂平行组随机对照试验报告符合纳入标准；其中90篇报告包含多臂疗效分析结果。本数据集收录了上述97项多臂平行组随机对照试验的全部提取数据。
