Although this record was probably kept from the time the Registrar commenced duty, the only papers remaining date from mid - 1978.From 1979 the series continued as the Letter file of the Assistant to the Vice-President (Mr J. Tonga held this position from Jan - Dec 1979).It has continued to be the file for copies of all correspondence relating to academic matters.
