本数据集反映了2000年至2010年期间华南地区的湿地被城市化进程占用的空间分布情况。通过监测华南地区的湿地在城市化进程中被占用的空间分布情况，可为华南地区的湿地生态保护、恢复和环境保护提供科学支撑。
This dataset records the spatial distribution of wetlands in South China occupied by urbanization between 2000 and 2010. As a result of monitoring such spatial distribution of wetlands encroached by urbanization in the region, this dataset provides scientific support for wetland ecological conservation, restoration and environmental protection in South China.
