Microbial mat (intertidal muddy area)

A pink proliferation of purple sulfur bacteria was characterized, isolationg the top layer to identify the main responsible organisms. The location corresponds with an intertidal muddy sediment on a beach (Vigo, Spain).

本研究对呈现粉色暴发特征的紫硫细菌（Purple Sulfur Bacteria）群落进行了表征分析，通过分离其顶层沉积物以识别主导该群落形成的主要生物体。采样地点位于西班牙维戈市一处海滩的潮间带泥质沉积物中。
