Patterns of ice cover for 31 lakes in the Northern Hemisphere

The dataset includes ice-free cover for 31 lakes that extend between 41 and 1146 years. The data was obtained from the National Snow and Ice Data Center. Connected with the ice-free cover data is the physical characteristics of lake obtained from HydroLAKES and mean winter air temperature obtained from CRU Climate Data Center.

本数据集包含31个湖泊的无冰覆盖观测数据，各湖泊的观测时长跨度介于41至1146年之间。全部数据均取自美国国家冰雪数据中心（National Snow and Ice Data Center）。本数据集同步配套两类关联数据：一类为从HydroLAKES获取的湖泊物理特征数据，另一类为从CRU气候数据中心（CRU Climate Data Center）获取的冬季平均气温数据。
