G. sulfurreducens strains T9-1 and T9-4 were evolved by adaptive laboratory evolution to grow with fumarate as sole substrate via metabolic disproportionation. The adapted strains were transferred nine times and genomic DNA was extracted for whole-genome sequencing with Illumina HiSeq 2500. Strains T9-1 and T9-4 are derived from G. sulfurreducens PCA.

以延胡索酸为唯一底物、通过代谢歧化作用生长的嗜硫地杆菌(G. sulfurreducens)菌株T9-1与T9-4,通过适应性实验室进化(adaptive laboratory evolution)培育获得。将适应后的菌株连续传代9次后,提取其基因组DNA,采用Illumina HiSeq 2500平台开展全基因组测序。菌株T9-1与T9-4均衍生自嗜硫地杆菌PCA(G. sulfurreducens PCA)。
