Disseminated adenovirus infection in a patient with a hematologic malignancy: a case report and literature reviewAbstractHuman adenoviruses (HAdVs) cause a wide spectrum of illnesses, including invasive infections, in immunocompromised hosts. We report a case of disseminated adenovirus infection following unrelated cord-blood transplantation in a 46-year-old male with a lymphoma. A review of the literature on disseminated adenovirus infections in adult patients with hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) has also been included. Despite antiviral therapy, the mortality rate in HSCT recipients with a disseminated adenovirus infection is as high as 72%, and estimating the risk of HAdV infection in a timely manner is crucial to improving outcomes.

人类腺病毒（Human adenoviruses, HAdVs）可在免疫功能低下宿主中引发涵盖侵袭性感染在内的多种疾病。本文报告1例46岁淋巴瘤男性患者在接受非亲缘脐带血移植后并发播散性腺病毒感染的病例，并综述了成人造血干细胞移植（hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, HSCT）患者并发播散性腺病毒感染的相关文献。尽管已接受抗病毒治疗，造血干细胞移植受者并发播散性腺病毒感染后的死亡率仍高达72%，及时评估人类腺病毒感染风险对改善患者预后至关重要。
