Towel Reusage by Holidaymakers in Mauritius
收藏资源简介:
The data set is the result of an experiment run from August to November 2022. Hotel rooms were assigned different signs. One sign only informed holidaymakers that they get no new towel if they put it back on the rack (treatment=0). The other sign includes an emotional appeal and a QR code to a video (treatment=1). 16 rooms were randomly assigned to the two treatments. Observational units are the bookings in these rooms. For each booking, the data set records: number of new towels requested (NumberOfNewTowels) number of towels requested per person (NumberOfNewTowelsPerPerson) room number (Room) date of arrival date of departure length of stay in number of nights (Nights) length of stay in number of days (Days) the reuse rate, percentage of opportunities at which towel is reused the next day Persons per room (1 or 2) information on the person booking the room: marriage status (0=no, 1=yes) age nationality of the passport holder continent of the passport holder whether the person ordered other meals apart from breakfast (0=no, 1=yes) whether the person booking was on their honeymoon (0=no, 1=yes) whether the person claims to have scanned the QR code leading to the video (0=no, 1=yes), only available for those whose sign had a QR code treatment (0=no, 1=yes)
