Towards Decarbonisation of Sugar Refineries by Calcium Looping: Process integration, Energy Optimisation and Technoeconomic Assessment

This research seeks to describe an effective operational integration of calcium looping technology to the process of sugar refinery. In this research, the synergy among the sugar refinery process, its power plants and calcium looping is shown using process simulation, energy optimisation and technoeconomic assessment.
