Ship-based Trackline Geophysical Data (MGD77) acquired during the Maurice Ewing expedition EW0208 (2002)

This data set was acquired with a ship-based BellAerospace BGM-3 Gravimeter and Atlas Hydrosweep DS2 Multibeam Sonar system during Maurice Ewing expedition EW0208 conducted in 2002 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Nathan Bangs). These data files are of MGD77 format and include Singlebeam Bathymetry and Gravity Field data and were processed after data collection. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Shear Wave Studies of Hydrate Ridge, Oregon Continental Margin, During Planned ODP leg 198 and 3-D Seismic Imaging of an Active Margin Hydrate System - Oregon Continental Margin, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OCE00-02410, OCE00-02487, OCE99-06990, and OCE99-07205.

本数据集采集自2002年开展的Maurice Ewing航次EW0208（首席科学家：内森·班格斯（Nathan Bangs）博士），所用船载设备包括贝尔航空（BellAerospace）BGM-3重力仪与阿特拉斯（Atlas）Hydrosweep DS2多波束声呐系统。该数据集文件采用MGD77格式，包含单波束测深数据与重力场数据，且已在数据采集完成后完成处理。本次数据采集服务于两项研究项目：其一为俄勒冈大陆边缘水合物脊剪切波研究（原计划在大洋钻探计划（Ocean Drilling Program, ODP）第198航次期间开展），其二为活动陆缘水合物系统三维地震成像研究（以俄勒冈大陆边缘为研究对象）。本研究获得美国国家科学基金会（National Science Foundation, NSF）的四项基金资助，资助编号分别为OCE00-02410、OCE00-02487、OCE99-06990及OCE99-07205。
