The maps for plotting are provided as Hewlett-Packard Graphics Language (HP-GL) files. The Census maps in HP-GL format are designed for output on the HP DesignJet 1050C. The Census Bureau does not endorse the use of a particular manufacturer's product for plotting maps. The recommended configuration and general hardware specifications for an output device capable of plotting the map products are as follows: media size: 36-inch wide roll, resolution: 600 dpi, color and black and white, memory: 80 megabytes RAM, 2-gigabyte hard disk, language: HP-GL/2. It is recommended that the HP-GL files are plotted directly from Unix, MS-DOS, or software applications distributed by the Census Bureau. Plotting the files from within other applications is not recommended. There are no Voting District/State Legislative District Outline Maps for Menominee County, Wisconsin, in this data collection.
