Estimating proliferation activity of bacterial group in Lake Biwa. lake water metagenome

Using surface water sampled in Ohmimaiko Beach - Lake Biwa on 4th October 2016, we searched bacterial group that has high proliferation activity. The growth of bacterial groups are restricted by predatory pressure, and also the initial bacterial community makes it hard to estimate the true amount of proliferation. Therefore, we carried out this project to estimate the real proliferation activity of bacteria without the effect of predatory pressure and the initial bacterial community.

2016年10月4日，我们从琵琶湖（Lake Biwa）大御子浜（Ohmimaiko Beach）采集表层水样，以此为材料筛选具有高增殖活性的细菌类群。细菌类群的生长会受到捕食压力的制约，且初始细菌群落也会加大真实增殖量的估算难度。因此，本研究开展此项工作，以排除捕食压力与初始细菌群落的干扰，精准估算细菌的真实增殖活性。
