Datasets for: Urban Heat Risk Mapping in New York City Using GIS and Fuzzy AHP-Based Multi-Indicator Analysis

This repository contains the raw input data and final processed datasets for the manuscript "Urban Heat Risk Mapping in New York City Using GIS and Fuzzy AHP-Based Multi-Indicator Analysis." The raw inputs include the NYC administrative boundaries and census-tract population data. The final processed outputs include the annual Heat Risk Index (HRI), normalized Land Surface Temperature (LST), and normalized Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) raster files for New York City from 2013 to 2023. The raw Landsat 8 satellite imagery used to generate these outputs can be obtained from the USGS Earth Explorer, as detailed in the manuscript.
