Klebsiella pneumoniae is a priority pathogen which infects humans and animals, been widely associated with hospital-acquired infections in immunocompromised patients. In this regard, we describe the genome sequence of KPC-2-producing Klebsiella pneumoniae recovered from a human bloodstream infection in Brazil.
