The lichen symbiosis is characterized primarily by the mycobiont-photobiont relationship. The associated mycobiont and photobiont lineages can vary along a lichen’s range, and this variation contributes to the holobiont’s environmental adaptation. However, little is known about the interaction of these environment-selected symbiont pairings at the molecular level. Here, we explore the effect of symbiont genotype and a light pulse treatment on lichen metatranscription.
地衣共生(lichen symbiosis)主要以真菌共生体(mycobiont)-光合共生体(photobiont)的互作关系为核心特征。在地衣的分布范围内,其所关联的真菌共生体与光合共生体谱系会存在差异,该差异是全共生体(holobiont)环境适应性的重要来源。然而,目前学界对这类经环境筛选的共生体组合在分子层面的互作机制仍知之甚少。本研究探究了共生体基因型与光脉冲处理对地衣宏转录(metatranscription)的影响。
