Illumina sequencing reads were generated to evaluate four transposon insertion sequencing (TIS) library preparation protocols compatible with Illumina whole-genome sequencing (WGS) workflows, with the aim of maximising sequencing efficiency while minimising turnaround time and cost. These datasets comprise the raw reads used to assess each TIS library preparation method for both Tn5 and mairniner based transpoosn mutant libraries.
