强制水文约束的水文水力学模型（Hydro-enforced hydrologic and hydraulic models）可精准模拟水流穿过水工结构物的过程，避免因道路桥面高程高于水位，导致在计算机模型中错误呈现为水流被结构物拦挡的结果。带水文强制约束的不规则三角网（Hydro-enforced TIN）同样会沿岸线与溪流中心线布设断裂线（breakline），例如当这些断裂线沿排水设施走向构成不规则三角网的三角形边线时。
