资源简介:

This repository contains the processed, analysis-ready hazard-zone and population exposure subset used in the associated study on national-scale hazard-zone overlap and estimated population exposure in Japan. The dataset is organized as a postcode-level population core cell subset and provides hazard-related indicators for major official hazard-zone types in Japan. It is designed for descriptive and reproducible national-scale analysis of hazard-zone overlap and estimated exposure patterns under a nationally consistent spatial framework. The dataset includes variables related to hazard inclusion, hazard-zone areal coverage, and estimated hazard-exposed population for four official hazard-zone types: flood inundation zones, storm surge inundation zones, tsunami inundation zones, and landslide warning zones. These hazard-zone types are provided as separate indicators and should not be interpreted as a simultaneous, compound, or cumulative multi-hazard risk assessment. Important note:This repository does not include JPWI values. The Japan Postcode-level Walkability Index (JPWI) is a separate external dataset developed and published by Ryo Tanimoto, Tomoya Hanibuchi, and Tomoki Nakaya, and should be obtained from its original repository on J-STAGE Data (DOI: 10.51022/data.tga.22597090). This repository contains the processed subset used in the associated study and is intended for descriptive and analytical use. It is not intended for detailed site-specific risk assessment or as a substitute for official hazard evaluation by local authorities. Users should refer to the associated publication for methodological details, variable definitions, and analytical context.
