UCLA Dataverse

The UCLA Library adopted Dataverse, an open source web application designed for sharing, preserving, and using research data. UCLA Dataverse will enable people in publishing and tracking research data, text software, scripts, and data visualizations created from research projects at UCLA. The data can be made publicly available, discoverable, linkable, and ultimately, reusable. The Data Science center will support the ability of research groups, centers, schools, and departments to obtain their own sub-dataverse that they can administer with guidance and training. UCLA Dataverse will allow data, text, software, scripts, data visualizations, etc., created from research projects at UCLA to be made publicly available, widely discoverable, linkable, and ultimately, reusable. We will also support the ability of research groups, centers, schools and departments to obtain their own sub-dataverse that they can administer with guidance and training from the Data Science Center.

加州大学洛杉矶分校（UCLA）图书馆引入了Dataverse——一款专为共享、保存及利用科研数据设计的开源Web应用程序。加州大学洛杉矶分校Dataverse将支持用户发布、追踪由该校科研项目产出的科研数据、文本软件、脚本及数据可视化成果。此类数据可实现公开获取、可被检索发现、可关联引用，并最终可重复使用。该校数据科学中心将支持各科研团队、中心、学院及院系创建专属的子Dataverse，并可在指导与培训下完成自主管理。加州大学洛杉矶分校Dataverse亦可将该校科研项目产生的数据、文本软件、脚本、数据可视化成果等公开上架，实现广泛可检索、可关联，并最终可重复使用。我们亦将协助各科研团队、中心、学院及院系申请专属子Dataverse，并由数据科学中心提供指导与培训，助力其完成自主运维。
