Genomic resources for L. castroviejoi and L. corsicanus

A genomic comparison between two sister species. - L. castroviejoi and L. corsicanus. We seek for accelerated evolution in a branch of the evolutionary tree specific to one or a group of related species. This analysis will mostly be based on the examination of protein coding genes because the comparison of synonymous and non-synonymous substitutions constitutes an internal comparison to detect positive selection.

本研究针对两个姊妹物种（sister species）开展基因组比较分析，所涉物种为L. castroviejoi与L. corsicanus。我们旨在探寻进化树（evolutionary tree）中专属单个或一组近缘物种的分支所存在的加速演化特征。本次分析将主要依托蛋白质编码基因（protein coding gene）的检测展开，这是由于同义替换（synonymous substitution）与非同义替换（non-synonymous substitution）的比较可构成一项内部对照，用于检测正选择（positive selection）。
