The series consists of various certificates and objects which were obtained by the Nurses' Registration Board.The records include Certificates of Registration for obstetrics, midwifery, and other qualifications, under the Nurses' Registration Act, 1924-32, which have either been returned or never forwarded. There are also various Nursing Certificates, Educational Certificates, Sydney Hospital Cookery Certificates and objects such as nursing badges which have been sent to the Board. A Nurses' Registration Board of New South Wales office stamp has been retained with the last date of use.Amongst these are several certificates which were issued between 1911 and 1923, these include obstetrics certificates for the Mothers Hospital, Toowoomba, the Home Training School and the Royal Hospital for Women in Sydney and a Queensland Certificate of Registration as a Nurse.Items are singly numbered.
