PRMT1 augments the global protein synthesis via RPL29 in CML LSCs. Taken together, our findings provide new evidence for protein arginine methyltransferase regulates protein synthesis in LSCs and highlight PRMT1 as a valuable druggable target for patients with CML.
PRMT1可通过RPL29(Ribosomal Protein L29)促进慢性髓系白血病(Chronic Myeloid Leukemia, CML)患者白血病干细胞(Leukemia Stem Cells, LSCs)的整体蛋白质合成。综上所述,本研究结果为蛋白质精氨酸甲基转移酶(Protein Arginine Methyltransferase)调控白血病干细胞的蛋白质合成提供了新证据,并凸显PRMT1可作为慢性髓系白血病患者的极具价值的可成药治疗靶点。
