Additional file 1: Table S1. Analysis of gene communities using the Database for Annotation, Visualization and Integrated Discovery. Gene communities in Table 1 were analyzed using DAVID functional analysis [58] and the following databases: UP_KW_BIOLOGICAL_PROCESS, UP_KW_CELLULAR_COMPONENT, UP_KW_MOLECULAR_FUNCTION, UP_KW_PTM, UP_SEQ_FEATURE, GOTERM_BP_DIRECT, GOTERM_CC_DIRECT, GOTERM_MF_DIRECT, BBID, BIOCARTA, and KEGG_PATHWAY. Results shown are those that met default threshold requirements to display in the Functional Annotation Chart. Results for each community are given on a separate spreadsheet.
