WATER TEMPERATURE and other data from USS HALSEY from 1992-03-16 to 1992-03-28 (NODC Accession 9200082)

The data in this accession were collected from ship HALSEY between March 16, 1992 to March 28, 1992. The real time data of water temperature at varying depth bathythermograph (XBT) was recorded in stripcharts by the US Navy. Some strip charts have time /date /ship id /latitude /longitude annotated on the strip chart. Twelve stripcharts and no radio logs were submitted to NODC. The XBT data from these stripcharts have been digitized and are present in the current NODC data storage system in C116 file format.

本次入库数据集的数据采集自哈尔西号（HALSEY）舰船，采集时段为1992年3月16日至1992年3月28日。由投弃式温深计（XBT，Expendable Bathythermograph）获取的不同深度海水温度实时数据，由美国海军记录于纸带记录图表中。部分纸带记录图表上标注有时间、日期、舰船编号、纬度及经度信息。共计12份纸带记录图表被提交至美国国家海洋数据中心（National Oceanographic Data Center，NODC），未同步提交无线电日志。上述纸带记录图表中的XBT数据已完成数字化处理，当前以C116文件格式存储于NODC的数据存储系统内。
