Digital Archive from Archaeological Monitoring and Recording at the Stanway Quarry, Colchester, Essex, June 2024

This collection consists of images, site records and a vector graphic from archaeological monitoring by Colchester Archaeological Trust. Work occurred on land at Stanway Quarry, Colchester, Essex, in June 2024. In contrast to the results of previous investigations in the area, the only remains recorded during this phase of monitoring were a ditch and a tree-throw, neither of which could be dated.

本数据集包含科尔切斯特考古信托（Colchester Archaeological Trust）开展考古监测工作所生成的影像资料、遗址记录与矢量图形文件。本次监测工作于2024年6月在埃塞克斯郡科尔切斯特的斯坦韦采石场（Stanway Quarry）用地范围内进行。与该区域此前的考古调查结果不同，本次监测阶段仅记录到一处壕沟与一处树坑遗迹，且二者均无法判定年代。
