Parental material determines the biomass and diversity of soil microbial communities along an elevational gradient on a subtropical karst mountain

We use phospholipid fatty acid analysis (PLFA) and DNA amplicon high-throughput sequencing to determine biomass and diversity patterns of soil microbial communities along a subtropical elevational gradient with contrasting parental materials (limestone and clasolite).

本研究采用磷脂脂肪酸分析（phospholipid fatty acid analysis, PLFA）与DNA扩增子高通量测序技术，对成土母质分别为石灰岩与碎屑岩的亚热带海拔梯度沿线土壤微生物群落的生物量及多样性分布格局进行测定。
