VPRS 9817 Alpha-Numeric Correspondence Files (Supply Registry)

It is thought that the records transferred to the Public Record Office constitute only a fragment of a larger series. The location of any other files was not known at the time of transfer (1995).Much of the correspondence that remains is related to the abandonment of the tramways at Bendigo and Ballarat and the maintenance of the service until the service was closed.These files were created by the Electricity Supply and the Marketing and Distribution Departments.
