To understand thermal tolerance in the Great Barrier Reef (GBR) coral Platygyra daedalea, we sought significant SNPs associated with thermal tolerance and looked at the heritability of thermal tolerance. The corals were subjected to a thermal stress selection experiment and a mortality study. We preformed bulk segregant analysis (BSA) and identified significant SNPs in tags, linkage groups from the Linkage Map, and the transcriptome.

为探究大堡礁(Great Barrier Reef, GBR)内多歧扁脑珊瑚(Platygyra daedalea)的热耐受性,本研究筛选出与热耐受性相关的显著单核苷酸多态性(Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms, SNPs),并分析了热耐受性的遗传力。实验对象珊瑚接受了热胁迫选择实验与死亡率研究。我们开展了集群分离分析(bulk segregant analysis, BSA),并在序列标签、连锁图谱(Linkage Map)的连锁群以及转录组中鉴定出显著的SNPs。
