In this study, we report two high-quality genomes for Pyrus bretschneideri Rhed. cv. ‘Danshansuli’ (DS) and Pyrus communis L. cv. ‘Conference’ (KFL), which represent the predominant Asian and European cultivars, respectively, with nearly telomere-to-telomere (T2T) gap-free level. The finally assembled genome sizes for DS and KFL were 510.98 Mb and 510.71 Mb, respectively, with Contig N50 of 29.47 Mb and 30.47 Mb, where each chromosome was represented by a single contig. The DS and KFL genomes yielded a total of 46,394 and 44,702 protein-coding genes, respectively. Among these genes, the functional annotation accounted for 96.47% and 96.46% in the DS and KFL genomes.
本研究报道了两个高质量梨属基因组,分别涵盖亚洲主流栽培品种白梨(*Pyrus bretschneideri* Rhed.)‘丹山酥梨’(简称DS)与欧洲主流栽培品种西洋梨(*Pyrus communis* L.)‘Conference’(简称KFL),二者均达到近乎端粒到端粒(telomere-to-telomere,T2T)的无间隙组装水平。最终组装完成的DS与KFL基因组大小分别为510.98 Mb和510.71 Mb,重叠群(Contig)N50分别为29.47 Mb和30.47 Mb,每条染色体均由单个重叠群代表。DS和KFL基因组分别注释得到46394个和44702个蛋白质编码基因,其中获得功能注释的基因占比分别为96.47%和96.46%。
