Between 2015 to 2020, Mongolia had the highest infant mortality rate throughout East Asia, with an estimated 18 infants dying for every one thousand live births. Comparatively, the infant mortality rate in Hong Kong was just one infant death for every one thousand live births between 2015 to 2020.
